Common Identifiers Overview
The ProteomExchange consortium has been set up to provide a single point of submission to proteomics repositories as well as a common set of identifiers so that users may easily see what different versions or processing of datasets are contained in the various repositories.
Exact details of how this is to be implemented is not yet described here.
